This picture was taken from the window of a propeller-driven airliner in the April of 1971 when I was on the way back from my assignent at Galena in the interior. This transparency was probably taken with a Canon FT but that is by no means certain (or important for that matter).
This is one of the many tidewater glaciers in Alaska. Unfortunately I can't really say which one it is but likely it is one of those in the College Arm which is in Prince William Sound and reachable from Homer, Alaska. Transparency taken with a Canon F1.
While on a trip to Lassen I was taking a nap in my sports car recovering from a midnight start on the trip. I was suddenly awakened by something nuzzling my ear. This deer was trying to get to some hotdog buns on the package shelf beyond my head -- no affection for me implied.
This was taken at Valley of Fire State Park near Las Vegas. The park features some weirdly fascinating landscapes best seen and photographed very early in the morning. You certainly don't want to be out and about there when the afternoon heat hits. Shot on Ektachrome with Canon F1 in 1977.
