Turning
I got involved in turning before taking up other forms of woodworking. Most early turning projects were simple items like pens and pencils and other small objects. Later I got involved in what I'll call artistic turning for lack of a better term. During this phase I also attended classes with John Jordan and Richard Raffan as well as attending seminars and demonstrations given by Ray Key, Bonnie Klein, David Ellsworth, Clead Christiansen and others.
A couple of small problems have presented themselves in trying to show my turning work: I
have sold or given away some of my best efforts and even when they are available many of
them are too small to photograph properly with my very limited digital camera. Please keep
these problems in mind as you look at these items.
