Words Of Wisdom About Life In South-Eastern Alaska

This little pseudo parchment poster sold in great numbers in Alaska, both to residents and tourists, and for all I know it is selling still. This somewhat ragged example hung for a long time in my shop then cubicle then office at my place of servitude, err.... employment.

And lest we forget, this parody was based (vaguely I'll admit) upon Desiderata written by Max Ehrmann in 1927. The first time I heard it I thought that it must be some incredibly ancient writing.
